Steel Framework
The steel framework has been defined for fabrication utilizing standard parts designed to be manufactured using automated machinery.
The frame sections are designed to suit the loading requirements, this is done by typically using a standard beam section and adding reinforcement where necessary. The loading requirements are determined by using the maximum ‘factored’ load for the particular component as defined by the requirements being met i.e. Building code or geological location (earthquake, wind, snow etc.). The analysis is performed
The design of the framework is such that no special tools, equipment or skills are required at the assembly site.
Provisions are provided in the frame components to aid assembly, attachment and the routing of utilities.
